Eight huts placed throughout the city are reimagined as photographic and playful dioramas, opening windows onto imaginary visual narratives. Measuring approximately two meters by two meters, the huts house three-dimensional installations composed of printed and cut photographic panels on multiple levels, revealing a series of scenes that blend intimacy, humor, and surrealism. Inspired by the iconography of the beach and vacations, the two artists explore vibrant-colored universes, where the familiar transforms into a dreamlike experience.
Installed in various iconic locations in the heart of Le Havre, the huts light up at nightfall: giant pop-up books, they invite spectators to take the place of the two artists to photograph these surreal worlds themselves.
On the beach, in a ninth cabin, the artists invite you to join their game by creating your own photograph with mobile props provided. Inside this cabin, they encourage you to compose and capture your very own vacation photo! Strike a pose and share your photo on social media with the hashtag #MYLHCABIN. On September, opened weekends only, 10am to 6pm.
