To celebrate the opening of the season, Un Été Au Havre invites visitors to enjoy a day of discoveries in close connection with the artworks and the artists. Guided tours, artist talks, performances, nautical activities, storytelling sessions, concerts, and convivial moments offer many ways to explore the programme. A unique opportunity to discover the new artworks, meet their creators, and experience the city through the rhythm of contemporary art.
In the shade of the trees of Square Saint-Roch, the artwork La Lune s'est posée au Havre becomes the setting for a poetic interlude. Storyteller Valérie Fortune invites children and adults alike on a journey inspired by the moon, filled with stories, imagination, and daydreams.

Experience the artworks from the water! By pedal boat, canoe-kayak, or paddleboard, discover Lorène Dengoyan’s colourful sails Les Optimists and the polar world of Icebergs by Gaspard Combes from a completely new perspective. An original experience combining artistic discovery, navigation, and immersion in the heart of the Bassin du Commerce.

Leave your mark in the world of Corallium. Alongside artist Charlotte Huard, discover the casting techniques used in the creation of her artwork made of a thousand hands, and leave with the imprint of your own hand.

The reflections of Spinning Around are accompanied by an immersive sound creation specially designed for the artwork. Combining movement, light, and soundscape, this sensitive experience unfolds at the foot of the installation.

Discover the season’s artworks alongside the artists who created them. In conversation with a cultural mediator, they share behind-the-scenes insights into the creative process, artistic choices, and the stories surrounding their works.
Starting from the square in front of Notre-Dame Cathedral, to play with the reflections of Sophia Taillet’s Spinning Around, followed by the discovery of Corallium, the hybrid corals created through the accumulation of the hands of Le Havre residents, by Charlotte Huard.

From Monet’s pictorial memory to stories imagined by artificial intelligence, Guillaume Aubry and Grégory Chatonsky invite visitors to rediscover Le Havre through two artworks that question the way we look at, narrate, and imagine the city.

Alongside Samuel Trenquier, Gaspard Combes, and Lorène Dengoyan, discover three artworks that bring imagination into the heart of the city. Between the fantastical jars of Les génies aussi passent le permis, the colourful sails of Les Optimists, and the unexpected polar landscape of Icebergs, this tour explores worlds where navigation, fiction, and adventure meet along the waterfront.

To mark the release of his new graphic novel Quai des Étoiles, Arthur Gosse shares his world during a special meet-and-greet and signing session. An invitation to continue the journey initiated by his artwork La Lune s’est posée au Havre.

With Sur le Motif, Guillaume Aubry invites visitors to rediscover the viewpoint from which Claude Monet painted Impression, soleil levant. This time, the artist extends the experience through the colours of the setting sun. Inspired by his book Sunset Cocktails, this convivial gathering combines tasting and contemplation around cocktails imagined from the gradients of the twilight sky.
An invitation to observe, taste, and share the landscape of Le Havre differently, in the presence of the artist.

The artwork Les génies aussi passent le permis comes alive during a musical afternoon.
The group YAÏA offers a unique sonic journey. Blending tradition and modernity, they reinterpret songs in Spanish and Arabic, combining ancient poetry with contemporary musical textures featuring electric and enveloping tones.
La Comète then transforms the park with an electronic music set. Equipped with a sampler and percussion synthesizer, Maxime Lacôme fishes out voices and melodies from the cosmic depths of genres ranging from trap queen to Albanian polyphonies and nordeste flutes.
