Sails (Les
voiles)

With Sails (Les Voiles), the artist presents an immersive installation in the central courtyard of the Blason residence, a former fire station whose renovation was completed in 2022.

In response to the building's symmetrical lines and impressive scale, the artist introduces the undulating forms of large, colorful boat sails, within which visitors are invited to wander. Adorned with gradients reminiscent of the Norman skies, the sails form a ten-meter-high composition, a dynamic architecture that complements that of the residence.

In parallel to this monumental installation, the artist also unveils a series of costumes, colorful draperies, and recent works within the interior space of the residence's gallery.

The work was supported by the Pasino Partouche Le Havre and Alcéane. Alcéane, the leading social housing provider in the Le Havre metropolitan area, made available the ground floor and courtyard of the Blason Residence.
