Vincent Epplay is an artist specialised in sound experiments. He has been exploring this field since the beginning of the 1990s. His field of experimentation is wide, opening his activity to all sorts of possibilities in order to create different ways to produce or listen to sounds. Whether he designs devices for public spaces like his Listening Booths (2005-2006), whether he performs alone or in a band, or whether he designs immersive installations with fascinating visual effects, this particularly creative musician always provides spectators with an extensive approach of his sound universe.
His creative works also include the production of records for several labels and he also regularly takes part to various experimental film projects. Actually, visual effects are often key components of his works.
In 2008, he designed an exhibition dedicated to hypnosis entitled « 10 pouces contre l'insomnie » (« 10 inches against insomnia »). This presentation of documents and videos led to a series of radio broadcasts called « Séances d'hypnose musicale » (« Musical hypnosis sessions »). Indeed, Vincent Epplay's works are never static. They are constantly evolving, puzzling, fascinating, and they are always designed to invite the audience to a journey they will never forget.
