The people of Le Havre - citizens, economic stakeholders, retailers or representatives from associations and the cultural realm - are invited to contribute to its success by becoming the first ambassadors of the project. Several highlights are open to participants who can provide assistance, and help with the preparations or staging of the events.
The LH Club
The LH CLUB comprises a dozen local companies* led by Seine Estuary Chamber of Commerce and Industry, determined to strongly participate in A Summer in Le Havre by becoming sponsors. We want A Summer in Le Havre to be a long-term project, becoming an event that helps transform the image of the region and its influence.»

The 2018 VSBS-SMES Club
Keen to make culture and tourism more attractive in the region, local businesses are supporting A Summer in Le Havre for the second year running. The VSBs-SMEs Club has reunited and, with the help of Seine Estuary Chamber of Commerce and Industry, they are sponsoring this monumental, prominent and popular artistic project. Sophie Szklarek, President of the Club said: «in addition to being patrons of this festival, our members are developing and implementing many dynamic activities and projects. In 2018, the VSBs-SMEs Club is once again setting up their offices in a beach house, with a programme allowing members to meet and get to know one another; they can promote their expertise among their customers and suppliers, engage their teams, spread the word about their activities, and more generally, establish themselves as key economic players in the heart of the region. »
For Le Havre’s 500th anniversary, there were one thousand Trade Ambassadors. To celebrate 501 years of Le Havre in 2018, their network aims to mobilize at least 501 tradesmen, craftsmen, service providers and independent professionals, and continue to offer a warm welcome to all those visiting A Summer in Le Havre.
Once again this year, local merchants and the Seine Estuary Chamber of Commerce and Industry will continue their collaborative approach to promote the «buy local» initiative and build joint projects during the summer celebrations.
A distinctive sign in their shopping windows helps you identify all participating Trade Ambassadors.
