Since 2010, the City of Le Havre has been organizing and hosting “moZ’aïque”, a festival of world music. Every summer, it welcomes international musicians in the Hanging Gardens, a place like no other that is literally suspended between earth and sky. The festival also devotes part of the program to local groups. Renowned for its sumptuous setting and eclectic musical programmes, it brings together 40,000 people every year and ranks as one of Normandy’s not to be missed musical events.
This year is the 9th edition of the moZ’aïque festival and look who takes the stage: Senegalese genius of African world music Omar Pène & Super Diamono, American soul legend Don Bryant & the Bo-Keys, Italian star Vinicio Capossela, French jazz genius Céline Bonacina and her spellbinding saxophonists, and more other good surprises. This year, 5-Day Passes are available online and at different approved sale outlets until July 17.
