Exhibition

Maison de l'Armateur

David Belugou presents a unique immersive experience into Ovid's metamorphoses, and more particularly into the myth of Danaë, which was so often depicted during the 18th century. His 17 verre églomisé artworks fit perfectly with the refined decoration of the Maison de l'Armateur. Visitors will have the opportunity to discover an ancient art form through the works of a contemporary artist.

As a genuine drawing virtuoso inspired by the venues in which he sets his artworks, David Belugou has already taken over the most unique historic venues – Royal Opera of Versailles, Paris, Monte Carlo, New York, Hong Kong, and Philadelphia opera houses – with dazzling ease. David Belugou is also a famous haute couture and jewellery designer.
