Cultural and artistic education, which aims to familiarize pupils with the creative process, can be approached in three ways: understanding works, developing artistic practices and developing knowledge. In other words, the goal is to educate in art and through art.

Artistic and cultural education projects are run during the school day but can also take place during extracurricular activities or family time, possibly as part of the children’s leisure activities. It is about helping pupils give meaning to their experiences and develop a better understanding of the world around them.

With A Summer in Le Havre, there is a myriad of projects pursuing multiple goals, with schools and out-of-school clubs sparking creativity and serving as cultural incubators.
