Portrait of a City
Download your greatest selfie on the Clic Clac platform and become part of Le Havre History!
Could this be the most exhilarating photo directory ever? To seal the shared history of Le Havre's citizens and celebrate their city’s 500th birthday, the Clic Clac project is an endeavor to shoot the portrait of the metropolitan area's inhabitants. How, you ask? The answer can be found in any of the photo cabins scattered across the city.
Upload your selfie to the web platform specially created for the occasion. Be on the lookout for the Combi Volkswagen, which will have donned Clic Clac's colours, and step inside: a photographer will be ready and waiting to shoot your portrait. Should you miss his visit, volunteers will be making the rounds of the retirement homes and nurseries to capture their occupants on film for eternity.
Teachers will also join the effort as volunteers, to ensure that this super-sized photo album turns out as comprehensive as possible. One of the outputs will be the monumental installation Le Temps Suspendu, which will await admiring eyes in the former powder keg at Sainte-Adresse, on October 8th, 2017, date on which Le Havre was founded.
